Statement by the President of the European Central Bank

I have taken note of the decision taken by the Danish electorate in today's referendum. I acknowledge the decision by the Danish people not to apply for the adoption of the euro as their currency. I wish to emphasise that this will not in any way affect the co-operation between Danmarks Nationalbank and the European Central Bank.
