2017 Forum — Young economists' session

Every year a number of PhD students are invited to participate in the Poster session of the Forum and present their research findings. The young economists’ attendance adds new dimensions to the discourse on topics related to monetary policy, macroprudential policy or other issues pertaining to the challenges faced by policymakers in a changing world. Thanks to their age and their exposure to different schools of thought, these young economists can adopt a refreshingly innovative approach in their analyses.

The winner of the 2017 poster session was Wenqian Huang from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
