Publication of the indicative calendars for the Eurosystem’s regular tender operations in 2010 and 2011

The European Central Bank (ECB) is today publishing the indicative calendars for the Eurosystem’s regular tender operations in 2010 and 2011. For the first time, these calendars are being published for the next two years, thereby following the practice adopted in setting the schedules for the meetings of the Governing Council of the ECB.

The indicative calendars for 2010 and 2011 have been prepared in line with the procedures set out in “The implementation of monetary policy in the euro area: General documentation on Eurosystem monetary policy instruments and procedures”. The calendars thus include only regular operations and do not contain any details of supplementary or ad hoc operations, which may be carried out in 2010 and 2011.
